Gazprom EP International Specialists Receive Diploma in Standardizer of the Year 2021

A team of authors represented by Ilya Livshits, Doctor of Engineering, Avtandil Kurashvili, Ph.D. in Law, Alexander Zaykov, Egor Sokolov, and Alexandra Lukyanova were awarded a second class diploma for their project of digitizing the Standardization Service at the Gazprom EP International B.V. Group nominated as “Practical Contribution to Managing Standardization Services in Enterprises (Organizations)”.

The project was brought to life by multifaceted efforts with the intention of digitizing the entirety of regulatory, guidance, and tutorial documents used across the company. The initiative was particularly needed in March 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out and most commuters had to stay home and telework. At that point, people needed access to work-related documents from wherever they were — whether at home, in the office, at the facilities or at the sites where the contractors and suppliers operated — for the company to keep running. In such an environment, the system proved to be sustainable and highly secure.

The Gazprom EP International B.V. Group continues to transform and become a more digitized business as a team of experts keeps adding new features to and technically enhances its electronic systems while deploying new, forward-looking technology. This project has provided the GEPI Group staff with a unique wealth of experience in digital transformation, standardization, and streamlining management system processes to meet the best international standards.

This award is a fitting recognition that the project is of practical value and objective evidence that GEPI employs a highly competent team for standardization and digital transformation.
