Gas Forum Welcomes Finalists of the V Jubilee International Young Scientists Awards

On 14 September, the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF) held a ceremony for the finalists of the Fifth Jubilee International Young Scientists Awards in the Field of Oil and Gas: A Glance into the Future.

This year Gazprom International presented a special prize For the Development of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

Based on the results of expert evaluation, the special prize from the Company was awarded to a research team from National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University. Their research on modeling catalytic processes of advanced refining of crude oil and focuses on the kinetic and hydrodynamic regularities of the catalytic cracking process.

Sergey Tumanov, Managing Director of Gazprom International, hand-delivered the certificate and the special prize from the Company in a solemn atmosphere.

In addition to the valuable exchange of information, such events enable useful contacts, boost communication and motivation to multiply knowledge” — said Sergey Tumanov.

The International Young Scientists Awards is the annual event, established by the International Business Congress and the Gas Industry Magazine in 2018.
