On February 11, in the headquarters of Gazprom International in Amsterdam, a meeting of the Supervisory Council of Gazprom International took place.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Council, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Head of the Financial Economic Department of Gazprom Andrey Kruglov, a member of the Supervisory Council, member of the Board of Gazprom, Head of the Gas, Gas Condensate and Oil Extraction Department Vsevolod Cherepanov, and Managing Director of Gazprom International, Valery Gulev.
In the course of the meeting, the results of Gazprom International’s industrial and financial activities in 2014 were announced and implementation of current and prospective projects was discussed.
Furthermore, the Company’s consolidated budget for 2015, particularly the opening of representative offices in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), were discussed in relation to the expansion of Gazprom International’s project activities.
Gazprom International is a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom registered in the Netherlands, the concern’s only company specializing in the implementation of foreign upstream-projects.
The main tasks and functions of Gazprom International include management of foreign projects relating to the search, surveying and extraction of carbohydrates; the search, assessment and purchase of new oil and gas assets in key oil and gas extracting regions of the world; control over operational activities; representation of interests of Gazprom in relations with foreign oil companies.
Currently, the key projects of Gazprom International are implemented in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kirgizia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Algeria, Bolivia, Venezuela, and the British sector of the Northern Sea.
