On Monday 13 December, the Indian Oil-and-Gas Ministry together with the Indian Government will conduct the ninth round of the New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP-IX) in Moscow.
Thirty-four exploration blocks will be put up for tender. In all, 8 type-S terrestrial blocks, 11 terrestrial, 7 shallow, and 8 deep-water blocks will be offered. Companies can direct their offer for one or several blocks independently or jointly with other companies by creating incorporated or unincorporated enterprises.
The invitational information booklet, including detailed data on the blocks on offer, their geographical location on the map of India, the terms and conditions, the presentation form of the offers, a copy of a Production Sharing Agreement template, a guide to tax in the oil-and-gas sector, a plan for reinstatement work of the area and a price list for it, will be presented to the companies free-of-charge. These documents can also be found on special websites: www.indianelpix.com, www.petroleum.nic.in and www.dghindia.org. Data about the blocks appears on specific web sites.
Russian companies can exploit the possibility of taking an individual part in the interactive meeting, organised by the Indian Government.
