Delegation of Gazprom EP International including company’s Managing Directors Andrey Fick, Alexander Kim and Sergei Tumanov took part in the XXIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2019) held on 6-8 June.
On the sidelines of SPIEF 2019, the company managers conducted working meetings with the representatives of foreign companies and considered cooperating in the ongoing and prospective projects.
On June 6, negotiations with the delegation from the Republic of Bangladesh were held at Gazprom’s stand. The parties discussed the preparation and possible inking of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Strategic Cooperation between the Bangladesh National Oil and Gas Corporation (Petrobangla) and Gazprom, as well as the Memorandum of Understanding for the Appraisal of Fields on Bhola Island between Bapex and Gazprom EP International within the nearest months.
Next day A. Fick and S. Tumanov took part in the working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Nguyen Van Binh, Member of the Political Bureau (Politburo) of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Chairman of the Central Committee's Economic Commission.
As part of the business programme on the second day of the Forum, the Executives of Gazprom EP International visited the plenary session attended by President of the Russian Federation V. Putin and the panel sessions: Global Energy Sector: Challenges and Opportunities; A Strategic Pathway for Energy Companies in the Platform Economy; and Natural Gas for Vehicles. EconomyandClimate.
