View AllGas Production at Dzhel Field to Start in 2021

In 2021, Russia’s Gazprom is planning to start gas production at the Dzhel field on the terms of a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA), told the journalists Andrey Fick, Managing Director of Gazprom EP International, at the “Oil & Gas Uzbekistan 2019” International Exhibition.
In October 2018, Uzbekistan and Gazprom EP International signed a PSA regarding the Dzhel field development. The term of the agreement is 25 years.
“At the moment, we have to prepare a feasibility study ...with a better delineated field and suggest ways of the field infrastructure development in order to submit it for approval, and after that we will move on to the project implementation. Under favorable circumstances, by 2021 we will have started the production”, said Andrey Fick.
According to Gazprom EP International, annual gas offtake at the field will amount to 150 million cubic meters per year between 2021 and 2024, reaching 300 million cubic meters in 2025. The estimated cost of the project is 200 mln dollars.
The Dzhel field was discovered in 2009 at the Shakhpakhty Block. The field’s reserves make 6.4 billion cubic meters of gas and 76 thousand tons of gas condensate.
